NOTE: for this themed episode, only Home Alone games were considered.

The NES game with the most-tied WRs on Twitch. Home Alone is a survival action game where Kevin McAllister must protect his house against Marv and Harry. When the game begins you have “20 minutes” (which, in reality, is 19:58) to survive their attack and thwart their robbery attempt. If they grab you, it’s game over! Around the house, Kevin will find traps he can use to try and trick the burglars and last longer. Casually, this is one of the most notoriously difficult NES games around. But, thanks to MCAaronIce and a few glitch hunters, Home Alone is not only a WR you can attain, it’s quite easy to do so!

At AGDQ 2020, myself and 10 others, thanks to Aaron’s tutelage, all got together, lined up 11 TVs and 11 NES’s, and did the thing simultaneously. It’s really worth checking out the video of my PB. For nothing else, I can guarantee you, finding 11 people simultaneously getting a WR on YouTube won’t happen anywhere else (if it does, I’d love to see it. Seriously, please comment below.)

The speedrun, as you’ll see in Aaron’s tutorial I linked above, is an easy-to-do setup to trap Marv and Harry on the outside of the house. Once you do so, you can literally put the controller down and wait until 19:58. Once that happens, GG. WR. EZ GM n00b.
